The Missing Half of the Church

Apr 12, 2026    Rev. Bo Baker

“The Missing Half of the Church” challenges the idea that showing up, attending, or maintaining tradition is enough. It confronts the reality that something essential has been overlooked: true connection, shared responsibility, and spiritual participation. The Church was never meant to function as a place people simply go to, but as a people actively being built together, growing, serving, and carrying the presence of God beyond the walls.

At its core, the message calls for a shift—from passive attendance to active involvement, from structure to Spirit, from routine to relationship. It emphasizes that God does not dwell in buildings alone, but in His people, and when that truth is neglected, the Church becomes incomplete.

This is a call to rediscover what the Church was always meant to be—and to step into the part each person is meant to play in it.
