Kingdom Builders: Seeking His Kingdom, Building What Matters
Sep 27, 2026 • Pastor Ed Snyder
The sermon explored the call of every believer not merely to occupy the kingdom of God, but to actively participate in building it. Drawing from Matthew 6:33, which instructs us to seek God's kingdom and his righteousness above all else, and from 1 Corinthians 3:9, which reminds us that we are God's fellow workers, the message challenged us to examine what we are truly building with our lives. Every decision, habit, relationship, dollar, and hour is a brick being laid in something. The question is whether we are building for ourselves or for the King. This has profound implications for our spiritual lives because kingdom building begins with surrender, and surrender begins with removing ourselves from the throne and placing Jesus there.
