How it all started...
Pastor Snyder and his family arrived in Dallas on January 10, 2014. The church had dwindled to only eight people meeting at 5:00 PM every Sunday at a Nazarene church building on MacArthur Blvd. Those eight people wanted to grow a church. Everyone rolled up their sleeves and went to work. They did outreaches, knocked on doors, made phone calls, prayed, and fasted, and the church grew. It wasn’t long until the church moved to its second location on Coker Street, and we went to have church on Sunday morning instead of Sunday evening. We thought it was going to take a couple of years to fill that location.
One year later, we were packed. God opened the door for our current location. We are now praying and looking for a permanent home. We are constantly expanding "small groups" wherever God opens doors in and around Irving. Pastor Snyder's vision for Solid Rock is to grow a strong base (Mother Church) and then start Daughter works all across the Metroplex.
Solid Rock exists for others. Our vision and purpose are to Love God, Grow in Faith, Serve others, Go change the world.

Expanding the vision...
"We remain committed to reaching people with the gospel and advancing our long-term vision: planting as many satellite churches across the DFW area as possible. God has blessed us with dedicated ministers who are currently undergoing training. In time, they will be planted in various cities to fulfill the vision God has entrusted to us."
Where we are headed...
"We continue to uphold the four purposes of our vision: Love God, Grow in Faith, Serve Others, and Go Change the World."
This is what we take us to fulfill our mission
