The Day Heaven Came Down
May 24, 2026 • Pastor Ed Snyder
On the Day of Pentecost, the upper room was not a throne room, a temple, or a palace. It was an ordinary space filled with ordinary people — and yet what happened there changed the world forever. Heaven opened. Wind rushed. Fire fell. The promised Holy Spirit was poured out, and the Church was born.
This was not an accident of history. This was a divine appointment — the fulfillment of centuries of prophecy, the answer to Jesus' own promise, and the beginning of something that has never stopped. The Holy Spirit did not fall on Pentecost and leave. He is still moving, still filling, still speaking, still empowering the people of God today.
"You can't explain Pentecost. You can only experience it."
