First Steps
Your First Step is Sunday!
God has an incredible purpose for your life, and First Steps is designed to help you connect with that purpose. During First Steps, you will spend your time diving into what it looks like to follow Jesus, discover your purpose, connect to the church and then make a difference with your life.
Get Involved
First Steps happens every month on four consecutive Sundays, starting with Step One on the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to jump in at any time.
STEP ONE
Step One happens on the first Sunday of every month. You'll hear the Solid Rock story and find out what we're all about. At the end, you'll get a chance to become a member of this amazing family!
STEP TWO
Discover your personality and gifts and see how they indicate your purpose in life and your best fit in ministry. We believe everyone was created with a God-given purpose, and one of the reasons we exist as a church is to help you discover that purpose and get plugged into it. Step Two happens on the second Sunday of every month.
STEP THREE
Explore the ministry focus of Solid Rock and find out what makes us unique. We use Step Three to answer some crucial questions you're probably already asking! Step Three happens on the third Sunday of every month.
STEP FOUR
.We want to get you connected to a team as quickly as possible because there's nothing as fulfilling as making a difference in someone else's life! Connect to the opportunities available at Solid Rock to live out your purpose and serve others by using your gifts. Step Four happens on the fourth Sunday of every month.
PASTOR'S LUNCH
If you are new to Solid Rock, have completed First Steps this year, or it's your first time to visit us, we want you to come and join us on the 5th Sunday morning of the month. Immediately following the morning service, we will be serving Pastor's Lunch. You're invited to come to meet with our pastoral staff, church leaders, and more incredible people! We are so excited about this that we are removing all excuses- lunch is on us, and childcare is provided! Let's get connected!
